3rd Grade Boat Trip
We had a fun, yet chilly day for the end of year field trip on the LaCrosse Queen with Breah's 3rd grade class! Our 9 year old had so much excitement building up to this day! We enjoyed a warmer half of the trip in the lower deck while eating our packed lunch and heard some great river history. After moving to the top deck, we all froze a bit. Being the resourceful girl our daughter is, mittens and hats were found in her backpack to share while a couple of classmates doubled up inside a dad's coat to stay warm. We spotted eagles and Breah took some landscape photos for the upcoming county fair. We topped it off with a trip to the gift shop where she scored a new hat and then spent some time in the gardens at the park with friends and took a trip to The Pearl for ice cream for the girls & coffee to warm up the moms.
